While it is the first garden we have designed for a client we found ourselves solving familiar tasks such as: space planning, changes in level, retaining structures, drainage, tree root protection areas, clay soils...

Here we have an example of a -split level- living space that we designed for a client in Birmingham, as part of a garage conversion project that facilitated a multi generational home.

In this project, we've gone beyond traditional design, incorporating innovative elements such as a concealed entrance door seamlessly integrated into the wall cladding, hidden storage for associated cleaning chemicals & essentials, a wall-mounted cistern for easy cleaning and maintenance, and a ventilation system cleverly concealed to maintain a sleek and uncluttered aesthetic.

Our focus on thoughtful design and functionality sets us apart in creating spaces that blend seamlessly into your lifestyle.

We love doing these hand sketches, they are a great example of how well we can explore ideas through the age-old technique of putting pen to paper.

A common theme across our projects is that we never compromise on design and we love designing schemes for constrained sites which also provide high quality living spaces for people.

The city, an entity that is seemingly unyielding to the relentless march of time, stands as a monument to human endeavor, -at least it is in Rome-.

A testament to a relentless human pursuit for permanence. Within the streets and structures of the City, there are echoes of memory both personal and collective.

In Birmingham the city’s enduring edifices bear witness to countless possibilities of lives, their stories etched in the brick and stone inviting us to ponder the experiences that have unfolded within its fabric.

Those memories that bind us to our past, find a peculiar resonance within the city’s enduring embrace. It serves as a repository of our collective history, a sanctuary for our individual recollections. It is a place where nostalgia finds its dwelling, where one can stroll along familiar streets and, in doing so, traverse the corridors of time; “I woz ere 2023”, “Children… that’s where I met your Mother…” etc.
